The item I purchased from gatorbait2001 was described in the ebay listing as follows:
Up for auction is a right clip on from a 2003 Honda CBR 954RR. It was torn down with 69 miles on it so all parts are mint unless otherwise stated!!!! Comes with everything seen in the picture. Good Luck!
Take a look at the attached pictures on the photo page and you can plainly see that the item was nowhere near mint condition.
Gatorbait2001 has not responded to any of the 4 emails that I have sent requesting that he make this transaction right. I was buying mint parts to rebuild my wrecked bike to mint condition and I am extremely upset to purchase an item described as mint only to discover that it is extremely worn. I can't even use this part! Actually my wrecked part is probably in better shape than this one (except for a little road rash).
Gatorbait2001 has misrepresented items to other buyers as well. You can read in his feedback that he received a neutral review from one buyer for advertising an item as mint and then sending an item that was, according to the buyer, was not by any means mint as the item was described.
